Prior to founding Confluent Software, Rajiv was the general manager of Hewlett-Packard's e-Speak business unit, which was responsible for developing the first Web services development and deployment platforms. Previously, he was manager of the Advanced Architecture Group at HP Labs. Rajiv received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the California Institute of Technology. Larry HamblyLarry spent 20 years at Sun Microsystems where he held executive positions with increasing responsibility in sales, marketing and services. Most recently, Larry served as Executive Vice President of Enterprise Services, Sun's global $3.5 Billion consulting, training and support business. He was in Sun's Executive Management Group for 10 years and was Corporate Quality officer for three years. Larry holds a B.S. in Physics from Montana State University and a master's degree in physics from California State University, Los Angeles. Doug Johnson, BSEE, MBADoug has 30 years of high tech industry experience. He has been responsible for all phases of product marketing and product development including Vice President and Division General Manager level. Doug received his B.S.E.E. from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and his MBA from Arizona State University. He is a member of the Board of Directors for the Center for Entrepreneurship at Colorado State University.
