SourceT is a micro operating system designed from the ground up to take full advantage of the unique security and performance features of the Itanium 2® microprocessor. By leveraging these hardware features, SourceT creates an operating environment that makes mission-critical applications immune to compromise from rootkits and malware, and resistant to network attacks.

By completely authenticating the firmware, micro OS and application code during the boot process, compartmentalizing and protecting code and data at runtime, and designing network protections directly into the micro OS, it creates an environment that fully protects itself and applications executing on it.

In addition, the SourceT micro OS incorporates a streamlined I/O communication stack, and a high speed cryptography library that greatly accelerate network and cryptographic performance.
